Biography

Dr Michael V. Volin earned his PhD in Pathology from The University of Chicago in 1996 followed by a post-doctoral fellowship at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University until 2000. He then became a faculty member at the Illinois College of Optometry. In 2004 he moved to Midwestern University where his research laboratory studies potential mediators and therapies of rheumatoid arthritis and he teaches immunology and infectious disease to multiple graduate and medical professional programs
