Biography

Ademola Adenle holds a PhD in Genetics and Molecular Toxicology from the University of Nottingham, UK, where he won the best student prize for his PhD research presentation at the British Toxicology Society’s Annual Congress in Surrey, UK. He joined United Nations University Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU-IAS) under the prestigious fellowship awarded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).  His current research is based on the role of biotechnology in sustainable agriculture and climate change mitigation in developing countries, and he coordinates the project in four different African countries (Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa and Swaziland).
