Biography

Deog H Oh is an Associate Professor of Food Science and Biotechnology Kangwon National University, Chuncheon, South Korea .research focuses on sensory neuroscience and sensory neuropathy. Her main interest is the pathogenesis and therapeutics of sensory neuropathy, with a focus on the impact of the skin microenvironment on the development of diabetic neuropathy. Previous research in sensory neuropathy has largely focused on sensory neurons. Few studies have explored how changes in skin microenvironment may affect the health of the sensory nerve fibers, which are embedded in the skin.
