Biography

Thomais Vlachogianni (BSc, MSc, PhD) is an environmental chemist and ecotoxicologist, specialized in oxidative stress mediated toxicity induced by environmental pollutants and molecular biomarkers of oxidative stress for marine pollution monitoring. Her work in environmental research and management stretches over vast areas including assessment of industrial pollution impacts in aquatic and marine environments; biomarkers for environmental quality assessment (marine and fresh water); physicochemical characteristics of municipal waste and management options; assessment of marine litter in the coastal and marine environment
