Biography

Steve C. Ricke received his B.S. and M.S. from the University of Illinois and his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, and was a USDA-ARS postdoctoral fellow in Microbiology at North Carolina State University.  He was a professor at Texas A&M University until 2005, when he became the first holder of the new Donald “Buddy” Wray Endowed Chair in Food Safety at the University of Arkansas (UA) and Director of the Center for Food Safety.  He has received numerous awards, including the Poultry Science Association Research Award
