Biography

Juan Sainz is a well-known researcher working in Department of Genomics and Oncology. The main interests of Dr. laboratory have been focused on understanding the role of genetic variants in modulating susceptibility to cancer and cancer-related complications. In parallel, my group also aims at analyzing the interaction of particular genetic variants and cancer risk and environmental factors as well as the functional characterization of genetic factors contributing to drug resistance and disease progression.
