Biography

ALICE NJERI MUCHUGI, currently works as a Forage Genebank Manager at International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI). She completed her PhD in population genetics from Kenyatta university, Kenya. She completed her M.Sc. in Biotechnology (2001), Kenyatta University, Kenya and BSc in Animal Production (1990), Egerton University, Kenya. She has Mentored and supervised several undergraduate and post-graduate students. She Published over 20 papers in plant genetic resources and biodiversity conservation.
