Biography

Dr. Yael Yaniv received her BSc in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (cum laude), her MSc in Electrical Engineering (summa cum laude), and her PhD in Biomedical Engineering all from the Technion-IIT, Israel. She was a postdoctoral fellow in cardiovascular science at the National Institute on Aging, National Institutes of Health, under Dr. Edward Lakatta. Dr. Yaniv will be an assistant professor in Biomedical Engineering at the Technion-IIT, Israel. She has been honored by the International Society of Heart Research and the Gordon Conference (both Cardiac Arrhythmia Mechanisms and Cardiac Regulatory Mechanisms) poster awards.
