Biography

Dr Indu Pal Kaur is Professor of Pharmaceutics and currently the Dean Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, PanjabUniversity, Chandigarh, India. Ongoing research programs in her lab focus on bioavailability enhancement of drugs including phytochemicals using nanoparticle technology. She holds a keen interest in dermal and ocular delivery; and probiotics and their formulation development. She has filed 17 patents in the past 10 years and has been granted one Indian and one US patent. She has recently transferred three of the technologies developed by her to the Industry.
