Biography

Major functions are connected with universities: Professor of Chemical Engineering, at the University of Amsterdam and at the Delft University of Technology; at present Guest Professor at the Delft University, at the Zhejiang Normal University (China) and Distinguished Research Professor at the Cardiff University; in addition, several times visiting professor, including University of Delaware, USA, University of Gent, Belgium, University of Mumbai, India and the National University of Singapore. Over 300 master and 70 PhD students were supervised.
