Biography

Deepak Kaul (born 21st May, 1953) earned his M.Sc degree from Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T), Kharagpur (WB) and Ph.D degree (1978) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He evolved to become a creative scientific-thinker & educator in the field “Molecular Medicine”. During formative years of his Scientific Unit” (M.B.U) in the year 1983 after joining a leading National Medical Institute designated as “Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research” (P.G.I.M.E.R), Chandigarh -160012 (INDIA) as a faculty member (Molecular Biology Specialty) in the department of “Experimental Medicine” that was unique at the time in India’s history.
