Biography

Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). My research focuses on cancer biology and plasma membrane nanoclustering. Specifically, I study how lipids, membrane proteins and cytoskeleton interact to mediate the formation of distinct nanometer-sized proteolipid assemblies on the cell plasma membrane. I also examine how nanoclusters contribute to signal transduction and cell function.
