Biography

Chhatra Sharma is Professor at the Central Department of Environmental Science, Tribhuvan University. His research focuses on mercury pollution in biota (fish), waters, sediments, and soils. He worked at Kathmandu University for a decade. He visited Chinese Academy of Sciences in the capacity of Young International Scientist during 2010-12. The Lappeenranta University of Technology in Finland was his another working place as Post-doc Researcher during 2013-14. Recently, he was a PIFI Visiting Scientist at the State Key Laboratory of Cryospheric Science (SKLCS), Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS-NIEER) in Lanzhou.
