Biography

 Dr. Xue is a medical entomologist and parasitologist, who was trained at Shanxi Medical University, Chinese Academy of Medical Science, and Department of Entomology, University of Massachusetts.  Xue was an Assistant Professor of Medical Parasitology at the Department of Medical Parasitology & Entomology, Shanxi Medical University (1981-1986) and Associate Professor of Medical Entomology at the Department of Vector Biology and Control, Beijing Institute of Microbiology and Epidemiology (1989-1991), Visiting Scientist, University of Massachusetts, Amherst (1991-1992), Research Associate, University of Florida/IFAS/MFREC (1992-1993), Research Entomologist, USDA/Center for Medical, Agricultural, and Veterinary Entomology.
