Biography

Dr. Srdjan Acimovic is a plant pathologist at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, in the Department of Plant Pathology, Physiology, and Weed Science. He is stationed at Virginia Tech's Alson H. Smith Jr. Agricultural Research and Extension Center in Winchester, VA. He conducts research on management of tree diseases, plant pathogen identification and epidemiology, including lab and field evaluation of biocides and plant resistance activators for their control. He holds a doctorate in Plant Pathology from Michigan State University.
