Biography

Dr. Mangar is the Chief of Anesthesiology, past Chief of Staff and is on the Board of Trustees of Tampa General Hospital. Dev Mangar founded the University Foundation for Education and Research and has published several hundred peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. Dr. Mangar attempted an open-heart surgery residency but fell in love with the “cerebral” part of anesthesiology. He is focused on anesthesia for cases including transplantation of  the liver, heart, lungs, kidneys and pancreas
