Biography

Carla Martins Lopes graduated in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Oporto University, Portugal (2001). She received her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology from the same institution (2006). The main scientific area of her Ph.D. was related to modulate the release profile of bioactive compounds. Currently, her research interest has also been involved the application of different micro and nanocarriers in pharmaceutical and cosmetic fields. At the present, Carla Martins Lopes is an Assistant Professor, Member of Scientific Committee and Co-validations Committee at the Faculty of Health Science of Fernando Pessoa University.
