Biography

Katherine Athayde Teixeira de Carvalho is a professor and senior researcher at Little Prince Faculties & Pelé Little Prince Research Institute, Child and Adolescent Health. She completed her MSc in Neurology, USP (1994), and PhD in Biotechnological Process at Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), Brazil (2006). From 2001 to 2008, she worked at the Preclinical Laboratory on stem cell and the Human Cell Therapy Laboratory at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná. She specializes in biology, pathology, and neuromuscular development. Her focus of research is on developing advanced therapy and cellular biotechnology for regenerative medicine, particularly for neurological diseases.
