Biography

Dr.S.Saranya, Assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering has about 10 years of teaching and research experience at Anna University and a short industry experience from Cognizant Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd. She received her professional degrees, B.E.in Biomedical Engineering and M.E degree in Medical Electronics from Anna University. Her PhD research in Anna University is in the area of Biomedical Signal Processing and machine learning. Her research involves development of an objective method of evaluating and grading muscle strength for functional assessment of musculoskeletal disorders. She is a life member of Biomedical Engineering Society of India.
