Biography

Jessica Overstreet is a nephrology trained biologist who uses my expertise to develop novel therapies for Diabetic Kidney Disease at Eli Lilly. She advocate for inclusion at Lilly and within the science community by leading critical initiatives across Lilly Research Laboratories to support a culture that encourages individual authenticity and an environment that supports all to thrive regardless of their dimensions of difference. Her research is funded by the Lilly Innovation Fellowship Award (Eli Lilly) to investigate novel therapeutic targets underlying diabetic kidney disease through an academic-industry partnership.
