Biography

Claire Beraud working as Numerical modeller chez Cefas at Pakefield, England, United Kingdom. The objectives of her PhD study are to quantify the impact of sediment feeding measures in the Rest-Rhine downstream Kembs through modelling of local tests of sediment feeding by injection or bank erosion. The impact of the sediment feeding measures is evaluated both at a local scale with 2D model and at the scale of the 45 km-long by-passed Rhine channel with 1D model. Using GIS system permits to transfer raw data to numerical mesh. Cluster of computers is used to simulate during decades.
