Carlos Augusto Gomes currently works at the Surgery Department of Federal University of Juiz de Fora and Suprema Sciences and Health faculty Carlos Augusto does research in Abdominal Surgery, Laparoscopy, Emergency Medical and Surgical Care, Oncology and Soft Tissue Surgery. Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (1981), Medical Residence in General Surgery (UFJF), Medical Residence in Oncology Surgery (INCA). Master's Degree in Surgery and Doctorate in Surgery (2009) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2003). Full Member of the Minas Gerais Society of Laparoscopic Surgery, Effective Member of the Brazilian Society of Cancerology.
